Yesterday was another headache that left me lying in my bed... Thankfully it happened after work, so I didn't have to put up with that nonsense. Pills as usual are of limited assistance, they do help, but the pain never fully goes away - and only gets worse if I try to do anything, so I stay laying down in the dark, hoping that my neighbors aren't too loud...
Currently have pain in my right ankle, and a slight headache today as well. Nothing major though.
Haven't written in here anywhere near as often as I should - too busy trying to get everything in order for my getting out of the military, I keep forgetting about this thing. Need to stay on it.

Whelp, I Called It...
Well, I said when I started, the biggest hurdle was going to be remembering to write in this thing... Especially with how busy I've been.
So, to continue - Ankle pain going on. Headaches still happening, had another big one where I had to just shut everything off and stay in the dark and quiet. Thankfully it was on one of my days off so I didn't have to use leave.
I thought the wrist pain was a side-effect of the medicine I was taking, but apparently not since it came back today. Still have random sharp pains when I'm walking around, both in my feet and in my leg.
...I feel like I'm forgetting something though. Gotta keep writing in this thing.

More Wrist, Headaches, & Nasal Issues
I keep forgetting to write in this thing. Headaches again, as usual... mostly not the crazy kind that I get every week or two, the normal type. Only had like three of those crazy ones recently. They still keep me up at night though, just not every night thankfully. But when they do... I was up until one or two in the morning just trying to go to sleep because of one last night.
Throbbing pain on the back of neck, at the base of my skull. Like a headache at the bottom of my head. Forgot that happens every so often. Wrist is throbbing in pain, even now as I type this. Has been since I woke up.
Also, there's been this weird discoloration on my nose ever since starting the steroid/antibiotic combo my specialist gave me. It's limited to one specific section, but still.
Knee pain again the other day too. Ankle was fine thankfully.

Knee & Wrist Again...
My right knee has been bothering me all day - light aches and pains as I move, and even some slight throbbing when just sitting down.
My left wrist started hurting again today out of nowhere again - and sitting in class all day hasn't been any good for my back... Just gonna be in pain all weekend I suppose.
I have more classes Monday and Tuesday, so I won't be back at my unit and able to see the doc until Wednesday at the soonest. Probably later depending on the schedule and whether she's booked or not. We'll see.
At least I haven't had a headache yet today. Yet.

Wrist Pain & Headaches All Week
So, been having the wrist pain for the last few days. It finally went away this afternoon. Had headaches all week as usual... still do today. Mostly not the bad ones though, just the average type. Yesterday's was one of the bad ones though, one of those so bad that I have to go into the bedroom, turn off all the lights and just lay there. The medicine never takes it all away, only helps it go down to a level where it is bearable.
Been having to use the full face mask instead of just the nasal one, haven't used the nasal mask for two weeks.

Starting A Log
Well, when I did my SHPE I obviously forgot about some things so instead of relying on memory for my pain I'm going to start logging it all here so that I have a record for the VA when I need it. Better to have it than to not have it.
Yesterday, 4AUG2018, I had a killer migrane. Not my normal ones, but the type that are so bad I have to shut off all lights, eliminate all sound, and seclude myself in the darkness and silence just to bear it even with the medicine I get from my unit Doc. These are the worst ones when they happen, and they happen too often.
Then, late last night my left wrist starting aching for no damn reason. It still hurts today 5AUG2018, but it is less, and accompanied with pain in my lower left forearm (near the elbow) depending on how I bend/move/adjust my arm. The pain in my lower forearm was probably there last night too - it's just so low in comparison that I didn't notice it since the wrist was so much worse last night compared to today.
This has happened before but I forgot it until it happened again. Hence why I'm starting this log. Because I just know that without some kind of time-stamped date showing that this happened while in the military, the VA will claim that it "isn't service connected" if what my ex-military friends have said about their own stuff is true at all.
I'm not going to be logging my normal nearly daily headaches... those are already a known factor in my medical records. Just the really bad ones where I have to literally lay in the dark and do nothing for hours. Those are the worst. Then I'll log any other pains that are happening that aren't "normal" or "already accounted for" in my medical record.
Well - maybe I should mention them. Just in case.
I get morning headaches, or at least I did before I used my CPAP machine, that thing is a wonder! I sleep so much better with it, wake up without the "normal" morning headaches I had... and I'm not tired and literally passing out at 1730/1800 like I used to. Instead I'm back to my once normal habit of sleeping for about six hours a night, and being good for the whole day.
Well, at least when I don't have a migraine that's so bad that I can't sleep at all. I get those too - migraines that literally keep me up at night, making me exhausted at work and performing terribly because of it. When I don't have those though, I'm at least getting real sleep for once.
My sinusitis is still acting up though. I still get sinus headaches in addition to the migraine ones mentioned, and pain, as well as tenderness in the nasal passage all the time. Thankfully the nasal spray they gave me at least has been helping keep my nose clear throughout the day instead of being stopped up practically all day. Well either that or having a constant leakage so bad that I had to plug my nose with tissue because no matter how much I blew my nose there was always more... Having to deal with one or the other literally every day was terrible.
Here's hoping I remember to log the stuff as it happens now... because that's going to be the hard part.
